Depending on their User Role (Reader | User | Administrator) and Access Rights, different users in Energiency have varying degrees of rights to view, create, or modify resources on the platform.
The assigned Role (directly in the user file) gives default rights in the various menus of the platform.
Access Rights, configured directly in the folders/sites at the root of each menu tree, allow specific rights to be granted in addition to those already granted by the Role.
Here is a table summarizing user rights:

Native rights by user role
Summary
A Reader generally does not have access to resources unless they are specifically granted access rights. They cannot create content without explicit authorization.
A User generally has the right to create and manage their own resources, but cannot access other resources without explicit permission.
An Administrator has access to the entire platform and can assign rights to other users.
The favorites selected in the Dashboard menu and visible on the Home Page are strictly personal and can be modified regardless of your Role.
A right linked to a Role is never removed by a locally granted Access Right: for example, granting an Administrator Read access to a folder does not limit their access.
Grant additional access rights
To grant additional rights to a User or User Group, you must consult the resource to which you wish to grant access in order to add additional Access.
Example in the case of an access right added for an Action folder:
Add a new access by clicking on the button
You can select a single User or a User Group:
The rights granted can be Read | Edit | Create | Delete
Once you have selected the rights, click on the “Save” button to save your changes.
Rights by Access Right
The Delete right, which combines all other rights, gives access to the resource's rights configuration: this status is therefore equivalent to an administrative right over the folder/site in question.
In the event of a conflict of rights, the strongest right takes precedence: for example, a user who is part of a group granting Create access to a given resource, but who is also a member of a second group granting Read access to that same resource, will have Create rights.
