The "Imports" menu allows you to view the history of files integrated into the platform over a selected period (in the same way as for dashboards and meters), and also to create a manual import of data (via an Excel file, whose standard format is different from CSV files imported automatically via an FTP / SFTP server).
To access the imports click"Import" in the left-hand navigation bar. This shows all the files imported into the platform.
To create an import, click on the "New import" button at the top of the page to add a new data file.
Click on "Create an import" and a the following field appears:
You must comply with the Energiency format, a template file of which can be downloaded by clicking on the "template" link. This template is an Excel file whose first line must either be empty, or may contain a meter name (optional). The second line must contain the word "date" (without capitals) in column A, and the sourceID of the meters to be integrated in the other columns (from 1 to the number of meters required). From the third line onwards, the file should contain the data as shown in the image below (date format in column A and number format in columns B and above)
Note: the decimal must be separated by a comma:
Once the file has been completed, drop it using drag and drop or by clicking on the "Select" button. The application will then analyse the file and then indicate the total number of data points recognised in the file. Then click "Import" to validate the import or "Cancel" if an error appears:
There are several scenarios that may prevent the import and display an error, if this is the case please check:
- not to have an accent in the name of your file
- not to have spaces or accents in the sourceIDs of the meters in the file (line 2)
- respect the cell format indicated above (date, decimal with a comma and not a full stop...).
- minimise the number of decimal places: maximum 9 (example: data equal to 76.5 will be accepted but 76.76556745343 will result in an error and import will be impossible).
